Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 22 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply when you purchase physical products from The Bluebell Effect through this website.
Please read them before placing an order. By submitting an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

In these terms, “The Bluebell Effect”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Stephanie Blakey, trading as The Bluebell Effect. “You” and “your” refer to the person placing the order.
About These Terms
These terms apply to physical products purchased through The Bluebell Effect website.
Separate terms may apply to any services, appointments, subscriptions or digital products offered in the future. Any additional terms will be made available before purchase.
You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian to place an order.
Products and Descriptions
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, measurements and other information are accurate.
Colours and appearance may vary slightly between screens and printed products due to differences in displays, lighting, materials and printing processes. These minor variations do not affect your rights where a product is faulty, damaged, materially different from its description or otherwise fails to meet legal requirements.
Product images are for illustrative purposes. Please read the complete product description before ordering.
Prices
All prices are shown in pounds sterling.
The price payable is the price displayed when you place your order, together with any delivery charge clearly shown during checkout.
The Bluebell Effect is not currently registered for VAT. No separate VAT charge is added by The Bluebell Effect at checkout.
Prices may change at any time, but a change will not affect an order that has already been accepted.
If an obvious pricing error is identified after you order, we will contact you before fulfilling the order. You may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Discounts and Promotional Prices
From time to time, products may be offered at an introductory, early-bird, sale or other promotional price.
Any applicable dates, conditions or restrictions will be displayed with the offer. Promotional prices apply only during the stated period and cannot normally be applied retrospectively to an earlier or later order.
Unless stated otherwise, discount codes cannot be combined with another offer and have no cash value.
We may withdraw or correct a promotion where it has been published in error, misused or affected by a technical problem. This will not remove any statutory rights you may have.
Placing an Order
Before submitting your order, you will have the opportunity to review the products selected, the quantities, the delivery address and the total price.
You are responsible for checking that this information is accurate before completing checkout.
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products. A contract is formed when your order is accepted and an order-confirmation email is sent to you.
Please retain the confirmation email for your records.
If we cannot accept your order, we will notify you and refund any payment taken. Reasons may include:
The product being unavailable
A payment not being authorised
An obvious error in the price or product description
A problem with the delivery address
Suspected fraud, misuse or unlawful activity
Circumstances that make fulfilment impossible or unreasonable
Payment
Payment must be made using one of the methods offered at checkout.
Payments are processed securely by the payment provider connected to the Squarespace ecommerce platform. The Bluebell Effect does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card details.
Your payment method may be authorised or charged when the order is placed.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied with the order.
Production and Availability
Physical products may be made and dispatched through a third-party print-on-demand fulfilment provider.
Production normally begins shortly after an order is accepted. If you notice an error or wish to cancel, please contact us immediately. We will try to stop or amend production where possible, but this may not be possible once production has begun.
This does not remove any cancellation or return rights that apply under consumer law and are explained on the Returns & Refunds page.
All products are subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable after an order is accepted, we will contact you and offer an appropriate solution, such as a replacement where agreed or a full refund.
Delivery
Orders are currently delivered only to eligible United Kingdom addresses unless the product page or checkout states otherwise.
Available delivery methods, charges and estimated times will be shown before you complete your order.
Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed delivery dates. Production periods, weekends, public holidays, postal disruption and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.
Unless a different period has been agreed with you, goods will be delivered without undue delay and normally within 30 days of the contract being formed.
If delivery is significantly delayed, please contact us so that the order can be investigated.
Further information is available on the Delivery Information page.
Delivery Information Provided by You
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate name and delivery address.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error. We will try to correct it before production or dispatch, but changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered fulfilment.
We are not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by you. You may be responsible for reasonable additional costs of redelivery where the mistake was yours.
This does not apply where the delivery problem was caused by The Bluebell Effect, its fulfilment provider or the delivery company.
Risk and Ownership
Responsibility for the product passes to you when it is delivered into your physical possession or received by a person you have nominated.
If you independently arrange for a carrier that was not offered by The Bluebell Effect, responsibility may pass when the goods are handed to that carrier, as permitted by law.
Ownership of the product passes to you once full payment has been received.
Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Your cancellation and return rights are explained in the separate Returns & Refunds Policy.
For most online purchases of standard physical products, you have the right to tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving the order. After notifying us, you normally have a further 14 days to return the product.
Please contact us and wait for return instructions before sending anything. Products must not be returned directly to the original manufacturer or fulfilment provider unless we specifically instruct you to do so.
The applicable returns address will be provided in accordance with the Returns & Refunds Policy.
Certain products made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised for you may be excluded from change-of-mind cancellation rights. Any applicable exclusion will be made clear before purchase.
A standard print-on-demand product is not treated as personalised merely because it is produced after an order is placed.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
Products must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
If a product arrives faulty, damaged, misprinted, incorrect or materially different from its description, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at thebluebelleffect@gmail.com.
Please include:
Your name
Your order number
A description of the problem
Clear photographs showing the product, packaging and damage or error where applicable
Depending on the circumstances, we may arrange a replacement, repair or refund. You will not be required to pay reasonable return costs for a faulty, damaged or incorrect product.
Please do not destroy or return the product until you receive instructions, as photographs may be sufficient to resolve the issue.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer law.
Communications
Order confirmations, payment information, dispatch updates and other essential communications may be sent to the email address provided with your order.
You are responsible for ensuring that the email address supplied is correct and for checking your spam or junk folder where necessary.
Essential order messages are not marketing communications and will still be sent if you have not joined, or have unsubscribed from, the mailing list.
Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with The Bluebell Effect’s Privacy Policy.
Information may be shared with service providers where necessary to process payment, produce products, deliver orders, manage returns, provide customer support or comply with legal obligations.
Please read the Privacy Policy for further information about how personal information is collected, used, shared and protected.

Our Responsibility to You
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for a loss that was not foreseeable when the contract was formed or that results from circumstances for which you are responsible.
Products sold through this website are intended primarily for personal and domestic use. If you use a product for a commercial or business purpose, we will not be responsible for loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or business interruption, except where the law does not allow such liability to be excluded.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility where doing so would be unlawful, including responsibility for:
Death or personal injury caused by negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Breach of your statutory consumer rights
Any other matter for which liability cannot legally be excluded or limited
Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control.
These may include severe weather, fire, flood, epidemic, industrial action, transport or postal disruption, supply interruption, failure of telecommunications or technology systems, government action or disruption affecting a fulfilment or delivery provider.
Where such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and keep you informed. Your legal rights relating to delayed or undelivered goods remain unaffected.
